In what appears to be a suicide Car bombing in the Tabasaransky District, in the Dagastan Republic of Southern Russia, 3 people have been killed, including one police officer. The bombing took place during roll call just outside of the Police Station.
The blast was also reportedly strong enough to take down a nearby building which was under construction. So far its been reported 1 police officer is dead, while 10 others are injured, two are in critical condition. A Federal Migration Services Officer was also killed in the attack.
The Dagestan attack came a week after two car bombings killed three policemen and injured six others in Chechnya and neighboring Ingushetia, in a suspected string of coordinated attacks in Russia’s North Caucasus.
Dagastan is the neighbor to Chechnya, which are two of Russia’s most violent regions. The two Suspected Boston bomber’s are from Chechnya as well.
